From July to September, you can earn 3% cashback on all eligible PayPal purchases, including Pay in 3 and PayPal Credit, in the category of your choice. At the beginning of each new month, you’ll need to select a category again to continue earning cashback, even if you want to keep picking the same category. You may receive reminders to set your category for the next month if you have enabled marketing emails and push notifications. If you select your category later in the month you'll still earn cashback for the remainder of that month.
