PayPal Fee Waiver Promotion for StartupsTerms & Conditions

This Offer cannot be shared or transferred and may be modified or terminated by PayPal at any time.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, participant must be (1) a resident of the US (2) eighteen (18) years of age or older during the Offer Period; (3) holders of, or eligible to hold, a US PayPal business account in good standing; and own a startup business that is VC backed, either at seed or Series A stage ("Valid Account") during the Offer Period; and receive an Offer from PayPal. This Offer cannot be shared or transferred. Offer may be modified or terminated at any time in PayPal’s sole discretion.

Eligible Participant: To qualify for the Offer, Eligible Participant must be a new PayPal| customer who has used neither PayPal Checkout nor PayPal Credit Card processing prior to acceptance of the Offer. Eligible Participant must add either PayPal Checkout or PayPal Checkout with PayPal Credit Card Processing to Eligible Participant's website or app, and process at least one (1) live transaction within 6 months of accepting the Offer ("Eligible Transaction").

Offer: Eligible Participants who add PayPal Checkout with PayPal Credit Card Processing to their website or app and process an Eligible Transaction will receive a waiver on PayPal Checkout and domestic processing fees for the first 12 months.

Waiver details:

Up to $350,000 waived for VC-backed, seed-stage startups, or
Up to $500,000 waived for VC-backed, Series A startups.
Personalized fee waivers are available by application for startups with exceptional growth as determined by PayPal. The applicable fee type, waiver amounts, and terms for personalized fee waivers will be determined on a case-by-case basis and at the sole discretion of PayPal.

Waivers apply to qualifying PayPal Checkout transaction volume processed within 12 months of the first live transaction. It covers PayPal Checkout and PayPal Credit Card Processing domestic fees up to the stated caps. Other PayPal fees—such as international transaction processing, currency conversion, payouts, disputes, withdrawals or other product-specific fees—are excluded. Transactions that have been refunded, reversed, or charged back are also excluded from the offer.

Taxes: Any and all applicable taxes or other charges are the sole responsibility of the Eligible Participant.

Offer Period: Starts when Eligible Participant processes their first live transaction and ends at 11:59 PM Pacific Time one year later ("Offer Period").

Offer Conditions: Once the Offer Period has ended, Eligible Participant will pay the current domestic processing fees for PayPal Checkout (and all other applicable PayPal product fees) as set forth on the PayPal website fee page, unless otherwise agreed with PayPal prior to the end of the Offer Period. This Offer cannot be combined with any other offer. The Offer only applies during the Offer Period and not to any other PayPal products or services besides either PayPal| Checkout or PayPal Checkout with PayPal Credit Card Processing. Each Eligible Participant must comply with all these Terms and Conditions and complete the actions outlined in this section to claim the Offer. If an Eligible Transaction is not completed or is not recorded by PayPal's system within the Offer Period, for any reason, that transaction will not qualify towards this Offer.

Miscellaneous

Offers are final, will not be returned, and are subject to review and verification. The Offer has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred out of the Eligible Participant's Valid Account, except in PayPal's sole discretion. PayPal may provide an alternate offer of equal value if it cannot fulfill the Offer. PayPal reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify this Offer in part or its entirety at any time without notice, for any reason in its sole discretion. Similar offers may run simultaneously; qualification for this Offer does not constitute qualification for any other offer. PayPal is not responsible or liable for any lost, stolen, late, incomplete, illegible, interrupted, delayed, or misdirected email, or Offer-related materials or correspondence or if any participant's email address, Valid Account, or other contact information does not work, is deleted, or is changed without participant giving prior written notice to PayPal. PayPal reserves the right to review any account, including the Valid Account, or transaction related to this Offer, in its sole discretion, without notice and delay or reverse completion of the Offer at any time. Offer is void where prohibited if Eligible Transactions are not completed through legitimate channels or if any Offer-related material/ transactions brought by the Eligible Participant to evidence the eligibility are counterfeit, altered, defective, tampered with, or irregular in any way. Certain offers may not be transferable. Any questions relating to the Offer will be resolved at PayPal's sole discretion, and its decisions related to the Offer will be final and binding and subject to PayPal's User Agreement and internal policies.
